Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026. At PromptSkillForge, transparency and data privacy are core architectural requirements.

1. Our Core Privacy Promise

PromptSkillForge is an open reference catalog for software developers and AI practitioners. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data. You can explore all skills, copy prompt templates, and inspect raw instruction files without creating an account or providing personal credentials.

2. Local Client-Side Execution & Clipboard

When you click "Copy Prompt", "Copy Command", or interact with terminal snippets on PromptSkillForge:

  • All clipboard operations are handled directly inside your local browser instance via the standard Web Clipboard API.
  • Your copied text, active project paths, and agent queries are never transmitted to our servers or third-party loggers.
  • We store your visual theme preference (light vs. dark mode) in your browser's local localStorage (key: psf_theme). No tracking cookies are used.

3. External Repositories & Agent Platforms

PromptSkillForge links to external third-party repositories (such as GitHub, Anthropic, npm, and official IDE documentation). When you execute install commands like:

npx skills add https://github.com/anthropics/skills --skill frontend-design -g -y

Your computer's package manager interacts directly with npm and GitHub under their respective privacy policies and terms of service. PromptSkillForge does not proxy or observe your CLI network traffic.

4. Contact Inquiries & Feedback Data

If you voluntarily reach out via our contact page or email, we will only use your supplied contact information (such as email and name) to respond directly to your technical inquiry, bug report, or skill contribution.

If you have any questions or data requests regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact us at privacy@promptskillforge.org.
